First Vice-Chairman of Russia’s State Duma arrives in Cuba on official visit

HAVANA, May 1. /TASS/. A parliamentary commission led by First Vice-Chairman of Russia’s State Duma Ivan Melnikov flew on an central revisit to Havana on Tuesday, deputy of a Russian Embassy in Cuba Zaurbek Makayev told TASS.





“The Vice-Chairman has arrived currently with an central visit. Ivan Melnikov is scheduled to attend in Labor Day events. He will also give Raul Castro a Lenin Prize,” Makayev noted. According to a tactful mission, during a visit, that will final until May 5, a commission will accommodate with Cuban parliamentarians.


In Oct final year, Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov came to Havana.
